Will my old Höfner Senator fit in a new Verythin case?

Verythin bass case on eBay. I'm not sure I can fit my '64 Senator bass inside it... The Senator is a bit thicker than the Very(i)thin, The sides are 5cm (2") - although not as thick as the President (Stu Sutcliffe) bass.

Why not just buy a new President/Stu S. bass case?  I got mine for $100 from the guitar shop.  Hofner is obviously making them.

I was thinking about it, but to buy a President case I will have to place an order with the local dealers, and it can take months. They don't have them in stock.

Ordering from Thomann, in Germany, I will have a case within a few days. So I was also looking at this one that they have in stock (they don't have a President case) - Hagstrom Viking bass case. Inner dimensions are right.
