Baltik 1973 (Swedish supersession featuring John Gustafson)

I had read about this album since I bought the first cd reissue of Quatermass' debut album (1990 Repertoire Ger) but heard it only today. John Gustafson plays bass on at least one track and sings on a few. This track has an almost heavy metal feel, could have been played by some '80s or '90s band. Written by Janne Schaffer:

The song reminds me of a Jesus Christ Superstar album.


Gustafson did another session in Sweden and the album featured the whole then current Quatermass line-up which also backed Shawn Phillips on tour.
