His publicist is probably wetting himself with excitement. This won't do anything but build his country music credibility. (Possum anybody?) But on a personal note, it sucks to see someone with problems like that. His new album is actually good, too. Didn't he leave his "aw shucks" rep behind years ago anyway?

Didn't Glen Campbell fess up, take his punishment and get clean and sober? And I don't recall him being naked in the road or threatening to kill anyone. Randy better wise up quick.

Yes he did, but that is still one of the most pissed-off looking people I've ever seen.

Give him a break, he is diagnosed with Alzheimer and probably already had it when that pic was taken. It takes years, even a decade to show. And that was actually my thought when I saw the pic, here is someone looking more disturbed than drunk. His last (according to him: final - the disease is taking its toll even on his music making capabilities) CD is really nice.

And I thought this was a thread about Randy Rhoads. (A late guitarist of Ozzy Osbourne, Dave, no country music affiliations though!)

Campbell is retiring from music - I saw his last TV appearance, and he's on his final tour, which according to his website appears to end Oct. 27th.

Yes, Glen had some ups and downs, but he is leaving the public eye while still able to perform.  I don't blame him for seeking a graceful way to retire.

Travis may be on one of those self-destructive paths.  At least laying naked on the pavement at night near the Texas/Oklahoma border this time of year, he must have been nice and warm.

Now witnesses are saying he was in a convenience store stark naked beforehand. He was apparently a regular customer, although the clerk didn't know he was famous. He asked for cigarettes and walked out after the clerk asked him how he was going to pay for it.

Another bad boy returning to his roots. Good Lord , I just scared myself . This can only happen to country stars....right?? There's no way in hell something like a return to bad boy roots could happen to a guy like me....right?? What are the warning signs??  I was lucky enough to make it through the first go round. No way can I do this crap again . Lucky for me there is no fame or fortune involved. I would probably be a back page story at worst. I'm starting to feel better already .
