I think the seller is our member mc2NY (Jon).

Beautiful.  Although it may take a while to sell, he should get close to that.

Crossed my mind with the fungus reference.  Never wanted a Vee bass but definitely appreciate the approach.

That Lady has appeared here before... 8)

Now that you mention it, I think he's showed it off more than once.

When you have a Lady that looks that good, why not...!

Yep, that one is mine. I actually have two guys who want it and we are tryng to work payments out. It's probably going to the same guy who I sold two Hamer Tbirds to, one of Nikki Sixx's pals. He's in the middle of recording sessions and needs an 8-string for some of it and wants me to ship it with partial payment. So that is part of the hang-up, since it's a one-off and mint....and the second TBird I sold him got stolen in transit for 10 days, then recovered.

I had been trying to work something out for it to go to Germany in a third-party trade for a Stoye sidecar for my motorcycle  but that's turned out too complicated of a deal.

BTW...That pic in the EBAY listing of the three green flame top Hamer 8-strings (yeah, I like green)...one is a short-scale, one is a medium-scale and one is a long-scale. So, it's a pretty cool shot.

I just have a LOT of 8-, 10- and 12-string basses and need to thin the herd.

Possibly one of the most beautiful instrument I have ever seen...  8)
