I sold my '63 P Bass for 7k about five years ago but it looked a little better than that.

I sold my '64 Precision for about $400 back in the '80s.  That bass had the perfect neck.  No finish left and glass smooth.

It was also a real '63 P Bass. I would be astonished if this one is.
