those came out about the time the Elitist's were out. i tried one out in the store and thought it felt weird. guess i'm a four string guy for life.

This is what Uwe wrote me about the one I shipped him.

"Yeah, it's neckheavy alright, but with the smallish body you can hold it comfortably in place. I've had worse. If you've grown up with a Kramer alu neck Flying V as your main bass, neck heaviness loses its threat for life! ! - ) I had not expected though that the B string would be as strong as it is. And people ironically like its look with the fllight deck neck merging into the guitar size body (though they have considerably fattened it up). I've strung it with with Thomastik Jazz flats which give it a nice warm sound with click attack, but not too quick a tone decay. Much better bass than I had thought."

 At one time I owned a Kramer Aluminum neck V ...................That thing wrote the book, chapter and verse about neck dive. No Gibson ever made compares in the slightest.
