As I was kicked off the RRF by the CEO .... I have not seen much of you.

I think we spoke a few years ago.. did you ever talk to Brian Carman or Dick Burke ?

The CEO can stay there, we'll stay here..

Sooooo, back to the book.

I had a very pleasant phone conversation with Chris Squire yesterday. Our exchanges will form the forward to the book. He has also put me in touch with Yesworld's photographer who will help supply images of Chris for the book. Now with the contract signed and the foreword underway, progress is really rolling along nicely.

Awesome! I hope everything works out smoothly. I can't wait to get the book!

That Turquoise 4004 is just amazing! The gold hardware just makes it perfect.

Many thanks for doing the book and I'm sure it'll be VERY well received. If I order NOW do I get a "Snuggie" available in my choice of Ric discontinued colors? If so, please sign me up.....I'll be using my "PayPaul" account. ;)

Back in the early '90s I was the first guy Ric let into it's archives vault for a NAMM Show cover story in the trade magazine Music & Sound Retailer. I remember how pissed off all the consumer guitar magazine editors were at that show to see I'd scooped them all and also had some Ric photos never before in print.

I lucked out because Ric was never an advertiser of our's and our publisher gave me flak that I wanted to do such a major feature/cover story for the NAMM Show issue...but he finally caved and said OK after I told him it would be a major buzz story at the show if he OK'd it. I would have been fired it it wasn't. But it definitely also caused major sh*t with the guitar companies that WERE our advertisers.
