Hey Martin, welcome to the Outpost!

Thanks For the Warm Welcome!

I built another Kubicki Fretless to replace the one I sold on eBay. Its lined with a very slim neck, did a Jaco tribute, vintage dimarzios etc. Will Post Photo...

Somebody asked me on here how I felt about Gibson Basses, WW II Aircraft & Model Trains. Hilarious!
I had a Gibson 76' T-Bird in Black. Had to sell it to pay property taxes, very very sad day.
WWII planes are necessary, but I wouldnt fly in one.
Model Trains? I prefer slot-cars, I still have my AFX set from childhood.

Wha...???? :o Some of the best flights I've had were in Stearmans.
I own and fly a 1958 Helio Courier!! And yes, my dog thinks I'm a nut-job.
(speaking of which, I gotta get back to the shop....)

Mc2NY, are those your Sunn amps? Many many years ago I used to rehearse at Charles Lane studios in NYC. The place was stuffed  with Mountain gear (as in the band) My second favorite bass amp ever. VERY close second to my Hiwatts!!

Yeah those are my SUNNs....I have a crapload of vintage SUNN gear. I recently sold off the guitar stuff but kept my 2000S, 200S and Sonic I-40 bass rigs.

I TOTALLY agree....one of THE best bass amps ever made.

Speaking of Mountain, I actually owned Leslie West's prototype SUNN Coliseum Model T head. That one and Pete Townshend's prototype both went to a band in Germany that uses all vintage SUNN gear.

You mean live? Sure.....most gigs I've ever played were with a 2000S head (except for a brief period where I got lazy and bought an A.M.P. head and then an SWR.) BIG MISTAKE. Went back to the weight of the 2000S for the tone.

Rarely haul the 2000S cabs though, although I am partial to 15s in my cabs.

i love slot cars in 1/32 or 1/24 scale. there is a slot car track place a couple miles from me. you don't see many of those anymore.

The Hobby Haven in downtown Pullman, WA was one of my favorite hangouts about 1964.  They had their own slot car track in the back room, with racing every Saturday AM.
