I'm fine. It's been years now, but IIRC this all started way back at the Pit when I was attacked for saying I couldn't stand John McLaughlin. Remember? My response was probably blunt.

That and the Che poster on the refrigerator of the willing comrade. I remember everything. We didn't dare post anything prog or fusion for at least a year.

Just bought it...looking forward to having a few beers and listening to it.

I like it more and more though by early-seventies Yes standards it is radio-friendly pop music. But exceedingly well-written and -played, Downes has proven a real asset on the songwriting front.

Two thumbs up from Patman...it is wonderful by today's standards.  Creative, modern, great writing...had to be a bitch to record.  Different from the old Yes, but every bit as good quality and adventurous.

Thanks for the heads up on this one.

Just asked my son to burn me his copy of Opeth's "Heritage"...hope it's as much fun as this one.

I hope.

Can't listen to most "metal"...metal to me is Uriah Heep.

To me, metal is Deep Purple's "Machine Head" album (1971).  I lost interest after that.

Machine head is still my favorite RIC sound

not sure about the album but on the tour he usd the black ric with the 2 j pups at the neck.   They were so loud that tour i can't tell you if it sounded good or not...

Also the new Yes cd is growing on me slowly.  some brilliant moments,  so not so  but that fits alot of their stuff post  Relayer.
