Anyway, so where was I... ah yes...

Well Officer, I was driving in a westerly direction on the Embankment earlier today when I glanced over at Battersea Power Station and happened to notice a 30 foot pig, floating through the air...

35 years ago Pink Floyd's design team thought it would be a great idea for an inflatable pig tethered between the towers of a London landmark which was destined for a much vaunted theme park (still is - never arrived) and it got loose and floated into the Heathrow flightpath - it was famously reported by a British Airways pilot (yep... breathalised on touchdown) and I kept this lovely cartoon from the time (not my scan as its somewhere in the loft "safely stored" with my Peter Cook T'bird pup )

... and if you google "Pink Floyd Pig" you'll find todays recreation... second time in my life I've seen a flying pig... (hmm... better check the lottery... ;D)

My goodness... where did those 35 years go...?

I was at a The Wall show of Roger Water's this year. With a big black pig flying over the audience. I think it was remote controlled:) Lurved that!
