Could we have a Stolen Guitars thread?

Perhaps it's a good idea to have thread or major category for stolen instruments.

Let us think about how to do it. It's easy enough to sticky a specific thread or two.

I would want to avoid situations like the one that happened a couple of months ago at several guitar forums where an anonymous post on Craigslist about a stolen Les Paul went viral. Without any idea if it was even legit, it got plastered multiple times across a bunch of guitar forums. I would hope that any post about stolen guitars would be about someone known to a member here, like the other guitars that were stolen along with yours. Does that seem reasonable?

I think that's reasonable. I'm sure that people will join up just to post about stolen instruments then contribute nothing further to the LBO. Certainly bears further thought.
