"Switchblade serenade"

It's not very likely that he used the Gibson on the actual recording because it sounds more like a long scale bass was used on the recording, but nevertheless it makes for a great visual and a cool song.

Edit: it should work now

I assume this vid is pre-Nirvana?  ;D

Definitely not an EB-0, sounds more like a freshly strung P, Ric or even Stingray to me.
We've taken too much for granted ... and all the time it had grown ...
From techno seeds we first planted ... evolved a mind of its own ...

Not a Stingray, because that has a kind of tone that sets it apart from all other basses out there. My guess is that it was a Spector because it sounds similar to Mike Starr's tone on Alice in Chains' "Would"

This video is from 1990 so yeah, it's pre-nirvana but you can already hear the change in mood in this song, it's not as glammy as Poison or Faster Pussycat, this song already has that darkness that foreshadowed things to come.

Yep now it works alright.

Remind me a lot of Skid Row. Not the pre-Lizzy Gary Moore stint of course, but the Sebastian Bach bunch...
