It was reliable in the sense that you could always easily repair it yourself, it gave you lots of experience too.  :mrgreen:

Unlike the real ones, you won't have to feel guilty about abandoning it by the side of the road for fear someone might take it, get it working again and then die in a headon collision.

Maybe now, we can restart the Minnesota tradition of placing a Volkswagen on the ice of a frozen lake, and taking bets on when it will sink in the lake. No more oil slick!!  ;D
