I've got a 60s Gibson EB-2 and a 90s Epi Rivoli reissue, but lately I've been digging this:

32" scale but fits in an EB-2 case 'cause the bridge is set further back, so the bass is the same size as an EB-2/Rivoli.

Love that bass, both soundwise and concerning your way of playing, both in style and your choice of playing close to the neck pup. Gives such a nice groove.

Looks like a modded EB-2D.  Rear pup looks like a DiMarzio, although it may be a homebrew variant if the vid predeates the model one.  It has two rows of poles, like the lead pup. That one is not a DiMarzio, which leads me to suspect homebrew futzing.

The video dates from 1978, the Model One was introduced in 1976, so it could be a Dimarzio.
