Tokai's are actually  built better than this.

This is a cheap Chinese knock off. I've seen adds from Chinese builders that will offer to make you any Gibson Clone you want. Some of the guitars look convincing on an Epiphone QC scale - but most of the basses look like bastard mutant offspring (like this "Slant Bass").
