Never would have guessed they'd get back together to make another album.
But they did.

There's probably a lot of Sheehan haters here, but I like what he does with Mr. Big.

There certainly are worse bands out there.
I had a Tama instructional DVD hosted by their drummer, Pat Torpey.
Quite good at dumbing down the art of head tuning.
Have Fun.  Be Nice.  Mean People Suck.

Together with perhaps JAE, Herr Sheehan is one of the few bass guitar heroes who's totally rock and not funked up or jazzy like most bass virtuosos develop to. I see absolutely no reason to knock, much less hate the guy. And I'm still grateful for John's bestowment of the Attitude Anniversary on me. A fine instrument that inspires me everytime.

I love the whole 'Rock-ness" of Mr Sheehan. Mr Big are a  good listen in my book. Some of it gets a little VH commercial sounding for me but most of it I enjoy listening to.

It's certainly the healthiest environment for Paul Gilbert who shouldn't be allowed to do another instrumental ever in his life!!!

The singer is good too.

That new track is quintessential Mr Big: power pop with a slightly too busy instrumental backing and Nirvana never happened.   And Sheehan is really the Rocco Prestia of hard rock, cramming in more (root) notes than needed (16s where lesser bassists would play 8s etc), but doing it well. Nice to see them back together. Someone should tell Gilbert he's holding that poor Iceman wrong side up though ...

Yes! Love the non-reverse Iceman too.

Very nice... (bion) a band I've totally missed... any recommendations on where to start...?
The random mind of a Silver Surfer...
If research was easy, it wouldn't need doing...
Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...
