Sorry guys, just dont see this as a good deal. I've watched so many newports with a logo go for mid $xxx. This one will never have it's original finish/scratchplate/logo/truss rod cover. True, it is a functioning bass with a nice old bit of mahogany, but I reckon you'd get a complete one with finish for another $100.

Still, paint it black, and stick a batman logo on the headstock and it'd look fantastic.
