Flicked on the TV last night after I got in, Austin City Limits with Hayes Carll. Paid no attention until he and his bassist sang a duet. I looked and she was playing an EB-3 slothead. Her name is Bonnie Whitmore.

Here's a fan photo from her Facebook page from a recent concert in Winnipeg.

The full ACL episode is here: . You can hear the duet starting at 40:45. I like the lyrics, but be warned, if you don't like country, you probably won't like it.

I sometimes rest my thumb on the E string (under the B string) for some tight passages.  Just makes it a bit easier on me.

Well, it's just a still shot, she was probably muting the E. Check out the ACL video, it's not as if she usually plays that way.

Great "puts-you-in-a-good-mood-immediately" song.
