Man this thread takes me back. A hobby I sadly abandoned several years ago.

And a great way to combine two pursuits, trains and photography!  I'd love to see some shots of your stuff.

If you ever get to my old home town of Williamsport, PA, you'll find a nice model train collection in the museum there

I did a thread with some other pics awhile back,  http://bassoutpost.com/index.php?topic=1969.0

Trains have been an area of avid interest for me since early childhood, with memories from the many places my family lived in Washington state and when we travelled across the U.S. by car in the mid '60s, as well as the time I spent in Germany as a teenager. For me the models are a form of artistic expression, tho they aren't your typical canvas!
@ mojo hobo, my best train buddy here in Seattle is from Galesburg, Il. a very well know town along the "Q" ( as the Burlington was known) many are the stories he has from his childhood and teen years of chasing trains down country roads in his '68 GTO - what a life! He now works out here for the BNSF.

I am not fooled.

All this allegedly innocent model training is thinly veiled fetish corruptive filth.

We've taken too much for granted ... and all the time it had grown ...
From techno seeds we first planted ... evolved a mind of its own ...

TBird: Thanks, nice photos. Nice work on the tanker!

Uwe:  When I said "shots of your stuff" I didn't mean . . . Oh, never mind!

And by the way, is there some underground connection between rail fanning and playing a TBird?
Dyslexics untie!

Godzilla is a girl and she wore stilettos on those pics.

"With a purposeful grimace and a terrible sound
He pulls the spitting high tension wires down.
Helpless people on subway trains
Scream for God as he looks in on them.
He picks up a bus and he throws it back down
As he wades through the buildings toward the center of town.

Oh no, they say he's got to go—
Go, go, Godzilla . . .
Oh no, there goes Tokyo—
Go, go, Godzilla"

;D  I'm listening to this on our music program at work!

The last time I saw BOC (damn no umlat!) they opened for UFO with Schenker on the "Obsession" tour.

Re: The trains I doubt there is any secret connection between them and loving Thunderbirds - I'm just odd!
