How do you post pictures on here?

So I signed up for Photobucket and now I know how to post pictures on here. At least I think I do since I haven't actually tried it out yet. My next question is about the size of pics. So what seems to be a reasonable size to make the photos in photo shop? I know it's not a set size but I know how annoying it is when someone posts something and the photo is huge and you have to scroll back forth just to see it. At least it annoys me so I'm assuming it is annoying to others. Thanks.

For use on forums, you probably want to have your images no bigger than say 800 x 600.

Don't worry about the size, we have the forum software set for a maximum 800 x 600 so anything larger will be resized.

Sweet thanks. You heard him, if I post a picture and it shows up as being 10,67775 x 14,99878 don't blame me. Ha ha.

Photobucket normally scales photos down when you drop the link in a thread - so the photo doesn't expand the browser window.  At least, that's my experience.  I have a lot of different size photos in Photobucket.

That's not Photobucket doing the scaling down. Most common forum software allows administrators to limit sizes, and most admins do that.
