Them boys rawk.  They got it right 40 years ago, and they aren't slowing down!

Unfortunately the sound mix completely buried the bass - I probably only could pick it out once or twice in each number.  Dusty Hill only played single pickup basses...and 90% of the night, it was a tan Telecaster bass with the classic SCPB pickup.

BTW - those are all cell phone photos from about 100 feet away, with the phone camera (HTC Hero) on full zoom.

that tele is his long time favorite bass. surprised he still tours with it unless it is one of many.

Sweet! I heard they were going to go back to touring with smaller stage sets and playing their older music instead of the later electronic stuff. That true? If so, I'd love to see that.

Yes, most of the set was classic stuff - opened with Under Pressure and finished with Legs, LaGrange and other favorites.  Played non-stop for 1;15, then did a 15-minute encore.
