Wow, those are both sweet basses! I couldn't buy either one as my ass would be in trouble with the missus. I just bought another Alembic today and I'm not about to press my luck. LOL!
Mark the blue one would look great in your family!

Sometimes Ishi can take a couple of days to reply, but they always come through with extra pics and detailed Jinglish descriptions of dings.  Be patient, Ms Grasshopper.

The "buy two, sell one" plan makes sense as well, you might get a better deal on shipping that way as well.

You would probably get $1000 for the white one on eBay or at TalkBass, selling to the US.

Really cool, my kind of color. But I dont like the extra knob.

Descrition doesnt explain the extra knob, or claims it to be a refin, but it does explain the volute on the head is a consequence of a repair. And despite some dings, scratches, and paint chips, it is a Orville, so quality speaks for itself, plus its a rare model. And comes with a non original soft-case, which probably is just bag.

Yes, It is an Orville. But the headstock repair ......volute.....and the enlarged control cavity cover ......extra knob...."custom" color...But it probably is a killer bass.

The Gibson Tbird in the pic is a bicentennial. A different animal.
Gibson made Tbirds with narrower pickup spacing during a brief period in the sixties. The Greco pickup spacing is based on a such a sixties Thunderbird.
