it sold for 650.

WOW!  I can only hope that my TH-1 goes that high if I ever sell it.  I've even upgrade the volume pot, and dropped a '60s Gibson pickup in it.

It was mine. Apparently the current owner doesn't like it all that much either.

It looks like I would have been much better off to list it on ebay, but I figured I'd offer it here first, this being more or less the birthplace of the Bachbirds.

That's what we get for being nice guys John...........

Someone, maybe GoT, made the comment a couple of weeks ago that they'd guess that someday our NRs will be go up in value because of the relative scarcity of any type of NR. We can hope!

Sure they will go up in value.  It would have been nice if the guy that bought the bass for John's nice price had offered it up here at the Outpost for the same price.  I could have made more on my black TH-1 on Ebay too but I wanted it to go to someone here.  Seemed like the right thing to do.

Hey, I'm happy. I do really like black one, so things worked out great for me.

If I do ever sell my TH-1, you guys will be the first to know.  Even my Embassy found a home when I sold it.  There were 3 people that didn't meet my reserve on Ebay.  One guy got indignant when I asked how much he was offering (he was a dealer).  I ended up selling to Mark (fur85), and even hand delivered it to him in Chicago.
