I really enjoy his photography, the model work is very good - his picture taking ability really elevates his models, excellent use of "natural horizon" in a lot of his work. I'm jealous of his time - that's a lot of hobby time there, well spent!

As you maybe know I worked as a car salesman for years

I collected model cars once, but I sold most of them and used the money for my new hobby: Basses. I bought my '64 Burns of that money.

When I started the only 1:18 models were Bburago. Nice, but very rudely made. Within a couple of years (and I talk about 10, 15 years ago) more brands started to make the 1:18 scale, things improved and the last couple of years I am glad I don't collect them anymore, cos I see too much too beautiful models.

But this link above is more than great!
