Back around 1988 I sent a dead '68 Telecaster Bass pickup to Seymour after replacing the one in my bass with his pickup.  I told him when he fixed it he could give it to Dusty Hill or Keith Ferguson.  He sent me a Post Card (remember those!) thanking me for the pickup.  I still have it somewhere........

I must say myself included in this day in age I expect a fast response, not everyone works that way. John Diggens who built my Jim Lea bass was very good with updates and emails I waited a year and a half for the bass and well worth it I might add. I found my communication with Bach extremely frustrating no where near as fast as I thought it should be. (believe me before biz on the web I never moved this fast) People expect it right the F now (me included). I find that parts of Europe moves at a slower pace than the US, not that this is bad just not what many have become accustomed to in the internet age. So I hold out hope that I will be replied to. Patience is a virtue (my wife tells me this all the time)

No kidding! I called SD and left a message about their replacement Ripper pups AND sent an email. That was maybe 4 weeks ago? I've heard zip.

Reading Scott's post about BaCH, I have to say I must have lucked out because I contacted them on Tuesday, Friday wired them the money and the following Wednesday the NR was at the house! I've waited longer for things shipped from across the state!

Waiting is not just the sole propriety of vendors in Europe . I waited six months for my Thunderbird pickup from Seymour Duncan, I had to call them and ask where the heck it was. I did get it though
