Darn, I wasn't aware that Epi on their long scale EB-3  made the neck long enough to keep the bridge position. Mea culpa!!!

Ok, one more test whether its an Elitist or just the regular Epi in white: Is the vaitone a real varitone with 4 pos (then Elitist) or just a a mock varitone activating the pups like a toggle switch would (then reg Epi)?

Here's an old page with the Elitist: http://www.epiphone.com/elitist/eb3.htm. Dot neck, 20 fret. Even if they made any in white, the one Ray bought has inlays and 22 frets.

Just found the completed auction page and the link he lists is clearly for the longscale Epiphone EB3.  I'd never seen one in white before.
