Listening to an Emmylou Harris greatest hits collection.  Check out Emory Gordy Jr's playing.  Perfect time...clean punchy sound.

He also did a lot of the cool 70's Elvis stuff. 

Classic lines, clean playing.

We have most of Emmylou's recordings, and several video collections... there have been a few "specials" on BBC4 (artyfarty channel), including programmes about Gram Parsons...

I'm with you about Mr Gordy's work, Patman...  The HOTBAND in all it's lineups were just that... 8)

All BBC stuff... I could copy (sorry, I meant to say, you could look after my "back-up" copy for me... ;)) off but it's not NTSC... all PAL, so you would have to get converted to watch... do some research, and if you get stuck on a dead end... I am pretty sure I have a 1/2 hour show with EG jr, with Albert Lee, plus a bunch of other stuff
