It looks like it - as if he had mistaken brake and gas as people sometimes due under the influence ...

I can't imagine being so drunk that you could mistake the gas pedal for the brake.  I might get drunk enough to forget which one is on the right and which is on the left , but that's a completely different thing ;)

CNN just showed the clip.  They reported that the warehouse was in Russia, and that the estimated loss was $150,000 of liquor.  Anderson Cooper joked about giving the guy (who had only minor injuries) a breathalizer test after he came out from the rubble.

That explains the glaring safety ommissions. I like Russia and Russians, but the country is terrible in that respect. Comes down to the old adage that "a single human life has no value in Russia".

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The dominos effect.

I drove a forklift for JBL for 9 months, the longest I've held a real job. hahaaa I was 20.
I got fired when I dropped some baskets off the 3rd tier that one of my co-workers had stacked too high.
Lucky I wasn't killed!
Oh well, I had my QUADROPHONIC system by then--4 amazing Studio Monitors!!!!
