I thought you had one Herr Moderator, they are set neck. I would think they sound quite similar to late '60s Bird. Wonderful basses

No, I have rank and file Epi TBs (3: Snowwhite, Nikki Sixx Blackbird & Silverburst), one Elitist and one Orville TB, the latter two being set neck of course, but no real Jap ho.

The pickups on a Greco Tbird are very good. Real growly monster tone.

My daughter recieved one from my sister in Japan for a graduation gift. It is a beautiful piece, but damn that thing is super heavy!!
