A Judas Priest tribute act.
They have even less elegance and charm than the real thing.

Still don't see what is so elegant about them. Probably never will, Uwe.
Not that it is of any importance what I think. If you enjoy them, that is the only thing that matters.

Rolling Stone just published The 200 Greatest Country Songs of All Time

Most of them wouldn't begin to make any top list of mine, but I was pleased to see a few, including this.

So you don't have Taylor Swift in your top 20 of all time greatest Country songs?
I picked up a country gold compilation my last time through Cracker Barrell. Here's a few that stuck out to me.
Just an awesome upright bass tone on this early Bocephus track.

A nice sentimental one I hadn't heard before.

Here's one that's still pretty relevant for the times.

Contrary to what James Bond says, a good Gibson should be stirred, not shaken.

I've discovered reaction videos on YouTube, and there's one "reactor" who is a professional opera singer, Elizabeth Zharoff. She focuses more than most on analyzing the vocal technique of singers. She does like popular music, she's interesting to listen to, and I've gotten a kick out of her analysis of SRV, the Moody Blues, Chicago and other artists.  Evidently her background is stronger in classical and popular, so there's a lot of older popular stuff she isn't familiar with.

This one is her reaction to You've Lost That Loving Feeling, and IMO it's a good listen.

And another band some of us know...

Here's one of my favorites - her first time hearing SRV:

I can’t stand her!
Her so-called first reactions are totally fake. She pretends to never have heard songs before. And her facial expressions are so studied it’s almost an insult to her audience and to the artists she analyses.
The only good thing is she has a good knowledge of singing techniques..

Agree to disagree, but thanks for commenting.

Bob Dylan's songwriting at some of its best.
