I see the connection alright, in the 70s Coke (the soft drink) had a spermicide reputation - a Coke washing immediately after the act was held by many teenagers to keep consequences at bay.

Mind you, you're current Secretary of Health & Human Services is probably still convinced of its potency.

Maybe Grace took some inspiration from Samantha Fish who went from girl next door charm

to edgy 50s rockabilly femme fatale:

Again, I have no issues with this, Mick Jagger sells sexual innuendo with his music too and why not. But if you decide to feed the monkeys, don't complain if the primates show up in droves. I never heard Lorraine Lewis complain about the male viewership she attracted:

I saw Grace's comments a week or so ago, and honestly, they kind of rubbed me the wrong way a little bit. But, I kind of chalk it up to her growing up in the social media age where thoughts and opinions are shared online regularly. She's got a cool vibe and plays well, but I haven't heard anything particularly outstanding. If she were a dude, she'd be about as famous as me.

I do enjoy Samantha Fish. She's doin it right.

Grace Bowers is no big loss. Who needs her when there's Kayla Kent?
Contrary to what James Bond says, a good Gibson should be stirred, not shaken.

Any artist is welcome to piss off as many people as they wish, as long as they bear the consequences. Sinead O'Connor managed it, but she did OK.

If Kayla Kent is going to be mentioned, this video should also be shown.  I thought it might have already been posted, but I don't see it anywhere.

Someone from Detroit has already said all there is to say to this:

I had almost forgotten that before sinking into political activism Uncle Ted was gradually advancing toward a poetic lyricism.  Certainly, a topic such as this one should be addressed--or undressed as the case may be.
