Converse are the maker of some classic footwear , they're most famous for the  ubiquitous Chuck Taylor athletic shoe. Some years back they did a series of shoes to honour Jimi Hendrix and did a shoe with the Axis Bold As Love graphics. Some Hindus found the shoe offensive , and it was recalled.
Today they fetch over $600 Cdn.
