Merry Christmas to all my LBO brethren.  This bass has been on the bench for some time and I finally wrapped it up.

Merry Christmas one and all , and to all a happy New Year !
I spent a good chunk of time playing my V today . It's just an Epi , but I like it .
Good fun .
Let's hope things might return to normal . I would like to be hauling my amp out to the regular dives again .

The Allparts muddy gets a big thumbs up from me,  I admit to being sceptical. I think I paid $40 bucks for it and I was shocked at how good it sounds. Specs list it at 30k and it certainly sounds it. A great budget EB0 pickup. The uncovered pickup is ever so larger than the original 60's unit. I used a 60s pickup when measuring for routing and test installation but once the Allparts arrived I had to remove a bit more body wood to get it to fit. The pickup would be perfect for  Billy Sheehan builds or turning Epi EB0, EB3, or Gibson SG basses into mud slingers.

My V's still an art statement in the hall but is now hanging up... I fitted 5 hangers on the wall for the black Jazz, my daughter's P ho, the V, my SG and my Mando...
The V was always going to be an art piece... the neck is an awful finish... pocket is oversized... it was sold as "parts" from a UK budget site...
