I have a 1990 Gibson Thunderbird in a rare Cardinal Red finish with a stamp on the back of the headstock that reads "PROMOTIONAL - NOT FOR RESALE." I'm considering selling it, as I don't play it nearly as much as I used to and could use the extra money. Does anyone have any idea what it might be worth? It's pretty much in mint condition, and plays and sounds as good as it looks.

Cool. Only other late model 'bird I've seen in that color was in the hands of Simon Gallup of the Cure.

She's a beauty! Rare finish for sure. Pre 2000 birds have been climbing in value.  I'd let ebay decided.

I'm tempted.. but at the same time I don't want to let go of it unless I'm going to make a good bit of money off of it.

Post it with a high reserve just to see where it goes.

Bumping this from way back when. I am now trying to sell this one. Any of you guys interested before I list it on eBay?
