Welcome G!

As you may have gathered by now this is the place for Gibby mod/repair/collecting/playing/discussing/collecting(Uwe!)/etc. not to discount the other fine forums around the net. Rest assured you're among friends with advice on getting you're long lost/found EB back in shape.

Just don't get them started on WWII fighters and..........Oh well, you'll find out soon enough!

Great Save/Great Project!

Cheers

There was nothing in the world
That I ever wanted more
Than to feel you deep in my heart
There was nothing in the world
That I ever wanted more
Than to never feel the breaking apart

Thank you all for making me feel so welcome!
Yes, it seems like I know most of you from "another life"
or at least another board or two...
;)

My goal is to give it to my son
(who also plays)
for his 16th birthday next year.
Which would be the same age I was when I got it.

Hiya Gonzo~
Nice to see ya. That's  a bittersweet story if I ever heard one.
SO cool to put that together for your son!

Looking forward to it actually.
The Lancaster dam buster was always one of my faves.
Built the model when I was a wee lad, I did.
