I wanna go see Gary Hoey or Greg Rolie this Saturday but it's a looooong drive south of L.A. for either gig!!

Hope is not lost! Watched this recently about a record label that took a bus from New York City to Texas for SXSW on a single tank of gas. Things are going to be real tough until we have more alternatives, but touring isn't dead forever.

We met a German airline Stewardess who said gas is about $10 US a gallon in Germany. She also said they are behind with Hybrid cars in the country due to fuel requirements or something?

Stop you're whining wait till it's $10 a gallon then you will see some changes. That 2 hour commute does not look so worthwhile anymore.
