Anyone interested before I take her to eBay? I'm the original owner, bought her new 30 years ago. All original, no stories. A few nicks and dings, nothing serious. Comes in a good Godin HSC. 1986 was the first year of these reissues. Not very accurate - the sealed grovers, the Tune-o-Matic and separate tailpiece, the wrong shape pickguard - but that's how Gibson made them back then.

says "NOT a one-off!" and "They're coming" and "more details to follow". They even changed the cover photo to a matte black headstock with laser engraved TRC. In the comments they hint that the color scheme will be used on other RIC guitars also.
The pics show sort of a matte Shadow. Matte black with black hardware and black/checkerboard binding, and dot inlays. Unfinished and unbound Macassar ebony board. Vintage style knobs.

The Bass Zone / Buy? Pass?

Bunny Brunel sig EUB on eBay, currently $1,500. New ones are $4,500. It's a really good model and it sounds like a real upright, when most others sound just like a fretless bass. And a D block... and they sound great bowed.
But I don't particularly need one (I have a good "real" upright) or have too much extra cash lying around, but at that price... I just don't know what to do. What do you think? Buy? Pass? Is it a good deal?
