I've owned 2 such basses, without the Quad option and with dual truss rods, still own 1, and I've never had tuning stability issues. They usually stayed in-tune gig to gig.

I love hollowbody basses and couldn't resist.
It's lovely, set-up was spot-on for me, arrived just slightly out of tune. Nice case.
It has much more clarity and definition than my other HBs. Came stock with Chromes!

Slightly random thought, but I considered fitting flatwounds for the bass course and roundwounds for the octave course. Has anybody tried this before?
I've not bothered trying to remember what all the switch positions do, I've found two that I like and haven't a clue what they actually do.
