Quote from: Ken on November 11, 2024, 06:11:54 PMThank you! And it now formats well for mobile. Happy days.

Well, I won't claim any credit it for that, it was probably part of the forum package upgrade, but cool that it did that as a byproduct!

Quote from: Basvarken on November 07, 2024, 06:24:09 AMtried to post a new topic a few times. But it failed...
Wonder what's wrong?

Well, it required pretty major surgery to get the site back up and running, so there may be a few bugs that pop up.  I ran all the maintenance that I could figure out once I completed the pretty significant forum upgrade, and didn't get any fails/errors, but I will keep an eye on the error logs when I have spare time (which is not much).

Other Bass Brands / Re: My new Sire P7 Gen 2

Quote from: Dave W on March 17, 2023, 12:23:18 AMNice looker.

My older son recently bought a Sire 5er and really likes it but I don't remember which model, and he's several states away so I haven't seen it yet.

I did...great bass although a boat anchor.  Given what the previous owner did to it, I'm pretty happy with it.  He had replaced the hardware with Hipshot, Fender P5 in the neck slot and Lollar Jazz in the bridge.

Due to the ruggedly handsome Son of DaveW's questionable IT skills and rudimentary knowledge of PHP, it seems he has managed to bring the site back to life.  No furry woodland creatures were harmed in the process, although he may have been drinking bourbon while resurrecting it and may have stepped on a squirrel without knowing it.

He accept large bundles of unmarked bills or coffee, preferably the latter.  Or you can get him one of these.

Saab Files for Liquidation

GM action's kept a Chinese company from injecting capital. Pathetic move, not that I would ever buy a GM product again anyway. Or another Saab. It's still too bad.

Yes, we will be deprived of owning another Saab to replace the one we had in the 70s that spent more time in the shop that on the road.  That is tragic.

Van Halen sues Nike

Isn't Ed a little too late with all this?

Only by about twenty years or so.
