Well no response.
I am trying to get rid of stuff setting in boxes and storage.
I have 4 of these single coils built around a sewing machine bobbin (just like the ones pictured).
Free to a good home. Just PM me with a mailing address.

In my opinion this is the first ModShop creation that looks really good. No hodge podge pickguard and a lovely finish. The white soeeds knobs are a nice touch. Controls lay-outis the only correct one.

Yeah but it's called a Grape!
When the finish begins to check will it be known as Raisin?

Gibson Basses / Re: Gene Simmons G2 Thunderbird

The G2 seems to have the bridge saddles right above the middle knob, all the other models in the pic have them about halfway between the vol and tone. The neck is pushed out by one fret. The other Birds have the deepest point of the cutaway under 17th fret, the G2 has it under the 18th fret. So a bit more neck dive, I guess, better access and slightly treblier pickups.

Keen observations!

Thanks Brad!

Who had the siding pickups in the 70's"  Seemed more secure with 2 rails.

By chance do you know how the magnets are positioned regarding their N:S orientations?
i have 4 coils wound on sewing machine bobbins that I might use.

Since I'm asking do you know the resistance per coil?
Thanks

I like the mention of Jaco Pastorius in the description. Jaco loved moveable P pickups.  ;D

Let's see. . . ruin a bass put a crappy drawer guide inside and set the pickup right where it was in the first place.  Sounds good to me Jaco.

From Wiki "Epirotiki Lines had lost two other ships within the three years preceding the sinking: the company's flagship Pegasus only two months before, and MV Jupiter, three years before.[1]"

I'm thinking that they had a poor crew qualification process.

Yes, it opened. Bad, but not as bad as the Mod Shop Les Paul.

It would take a lot to do that.

I see that it's about 10 minutes long. With Trogly, that means there's about 20 seconds of actual information. The guy is unable to be anything but a colossal bore.

If he knows about us, he probably doesn't care.

True and he's being paid by the minute.

I can relate.  I'm also having a problem now with not enough bass space.

Well you will have to switch to fiddles and mandos or just suck it up.
