I love psychodots!  They still do an annual show for Thanksgiving.

Welcome aboard.  I remember your name, as well.  We're still basically just several species of small furry animals gathered together in a cave and grooving with a pict.

Remember this album cover?

It was the painting (by Ed Beardsley) on Frank Zappa's wall.

Dave Hill was even in his most shocking moments good fun, there was nothing threatening about him. The original Alice Cooper Band all looked like they were either taling or selling heroin. I was fascinated by that look too, they looked like a longhaired street gang straight out of Clockwork Orange or Warriors.

And it really just started when The GTOs let them borrow clothes...

I've been told that Robert Steven Belew took his more well known name, Adrian, from his first girlfriend in high school.

If you'd been abducted by aliens like Sammy was, you'd always want to carry a gun too.

My buddy who has insisted for many years that Suzi Quatro and Rick are the same person emailed me wanting to know if the gun was registered in Suzi's name. Unfortunately for Rick, he's too full in the face now to be confused with her.

When somebody gets caught and claims he does it all the time, I'm skeptical, even considering how much supposedly gets by airport security. Has it ever been okay to take a loaded gun onto a commercial flight? I doubt it. How can he not know that?

I was in the San Francisco airport the year Sammy Hagar had the same issue.  I was walking next to him for a few minutes before I knew it was him (he's REALLY short).  When they found the loaded gun in his luggage, he stated that he had always taken chartered or private flights, never a commercial airline.  Packing the gun was normal for him.  The FBI believed him and let him off the hook.  Now, whether the same is true for Derringer, we don't know, but that's always a possibility.

I included you in an email to friends who aren't on Facebook. See what you're missing? You can't get this kind of information just any old place.

I saw them at the Chicago Auditorium from the first row of the first balcony. It was one of the most memorable concerts I have seen.

I was at that show, too.  Amazing show, and it was Bill Bruford's immense kit (and the space it took) that wowed me.  I think he had to inherit/combine both his kit and the stuff Jamie Muir left behind.  Bruford was getting a workout that night.

It looks like it's reported on multiple sites.  RIP to one of my influences.  I was basically a rock player, and then Lark's Tongue in Aspic came out, and I heard wonderous things.  I found myself, in younger years, at an audition that was basically jazz/fusion.  Violin, drums, and me.  I was in over my head.  I took a deep breath, did my best John Wetton and plowed in.  I didn't get the gig, but it was a fun jam, and the others were happy with what i did.
