YESTERDAY ON D'BAY I SAW THAT REPAIRED 64 THUNDERBIRD II  AND ON IT WAS  THE PERSON'S EMAIL STATING IN THE LISTING THAT THERE WAS A BUY IT NOW FOR $1300.00. I EMAILED THEM AND THEY TOLD ME IT WAS REMOVED BY THE SELLER BUT SOMETHING WAS FISHY. I CHECKED THE COMPLETED LISTINGS AND IT WAS NOT THERE, HOWEVER, IT HAD SOLD A FEW WEEKS AGO FOR ABOUT $3,000.00. BEWARE. IF IT ISN'T ON THE AUCTION, BEWARE. THE GUY STATED HIS NAME WAS PAUL WHITE AND HIS EMAIL IS taraf07@gmail.com. THE GMAIL THING GOT ME THINKING. HE SENT ME THE EXACT SAME PHOTOS AS IN THE ORIGINAL AUCTION BUT WASN'T ABLE TO ANSWER SOME OBVIOUS QUESTIONS, LIKE, "WAS THE HEADSTOCK BROKE," ETC. WATCH OUT!!! IF IT'S TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT PROBABLY IS A SCAM!! :o

Hmmmmmm.....Yes, I see your point. The only bridges that kick ass to me are the originals and Scott's Badbird.

Anybody know what year that black thunderbird the Robot Gene played??? Any info or photos?

1347
Gotcha! I'll have to contact them. If they are the same dimensions with the threaded holes being inline with the originals, that will work.

I just saw Bach's webpage and those saddles are notched. Thanks anyway! I would have thought that with so many people unsatisfies with the intonation problem would have scrapped their old bridges for a replacement.

Thanks but I don't know if those would work with my bridge. Do they have a website? I would prefer originals.

Can anyone here help??? I have a 1965 reverse thunderbird IV with nickel hardware. Have slots filed, maybe 1/32" deep. I am looking for a virgin set of 4 unnotched and unfiled, Nickel preferred but would take chrome. I know everyone here has spare parts. And for your information...I play my birds with a medium COOL pick and the strings NEVER ....NEVER, Ever slip off the smooth bridge saddles. I play metal by the way. Please help!! Thanks! Joe
