Uwe, John & Gary... stunned... Dark City was made in 1998...? how on earth did I miss this one...? Just finished watching it for the first time, and now I've just discovered a D exists, and yes I am that sad, I'll get that too...  ;)

BTW... some of the sets got re-used in "The Matrix" ...

and another BTW, my cousin (same name, different continent) was well pee'd off with Reeves and his band (Dogstar, whoever they may be...), as they block-booked the best rehearsal rooms in Sydney whilst filming the trilogy...

John & Gary... thanks for the recommendation...

Now I've gotta check on Tin Drum...?

Where there is light, there must be shadow... we all must beware of the darkenss that lurks within... :vader: :vader: :vader:

Probably why my SG (6 string version) is black...   8) - black pups, too...  8)

hmm, still haven't posted anything about my Ibanez 12 string acoustic... still too scared of German Intervention...  :o  :o  :o

Scott... surely you could have got Charlotte an EB0...? why inflict her with Fenderitis...?  ;D

I bet that mudbucker is rattling those old Celestions ! Are you going to recover your cab?

... and the Mud's gonna be the DEAF of them...
Scott, if the paint works out cheaper than the material, paint it will be, and if spray black is good enough for Lemmy, why should I complain...?  ;)

Never, ever knowingly seen one, and the "drug-store" culture just did not happen here - plenty of "tea-shops"...  ;D

You could always sell one, but if the other ever failed...  :o

and damn... wrong side of the "pond"... if you were round the corner or I were more active...

Cheers for that Joe... That mods posting was most useful... A touch of the forelock in your direction...  8)

Scott... the hideous 4x12 you can see behind me is the beast in question... a 1970 slope that presently has 3 of the 4 original Celestion 30 watt speakers - originally all in series, so 120 watt at 8 ohms... I'm partly tempted to go for Fanes, as they are presently re-creating their 12's to Dave Reeve's original spec - I think you can understand that kind of temptation - just can't afford the fuul package... don't know about Eminence (I have listened to JS and like your sound, so...) but will check out - I have just received a bonus from work so have the spare readdies for a budget upgrade, and the replacement shed...  ;D

Any other POV's are most welcome...

That'll teach me... more scanning and will comply...  ;D

If there are specific images anybody wants, just send word and I'll e a bigger shot once they are cleaned up - I don't have any fancy software, but it does enough for me...

What was that Hunter S Thompson quote, there seemed to be several...

"I'd hate to advocate drugs, sex, alcohol and violence, but they seem to work for me..."

Great live act in their heyday...

I had the misfortune of meeting Mr Lynott, and all due respect to the dead, I'll say nothing more...  >:(

Never seen John Sykes since he was in Tygers, but always thought Mr Coverdale made a big mistake in losing him...

God made the beaver, who built their own lakes...
And Uwe plays Gibsons, and buys all their makes...
But lyrical writing, I don't really know...
So I'd best not upset him, and just let it go...  ;D

Better we all stick to playing...?  ;D

Mr Powell... you went the other mile an grabbed it...  truly nasty... 8)

The one on the left looks like my mum, and she used to sing...  :o

Bret... Mark needs no help with the innuendos...  ;)

On the right... Buddy Holly in drag...? either that , or Eric Morecambe, which will mean nothing to most non Brits...

Is Paul Hornung related to Uwe...?

I was thinking the middle one looked more Russian athlete - shot put type...?

There must be something about this hairstyle... check out this link...  :o  :o  :o

A stack of more dodgy covers are at the site I found this, also a Christian group...

One thing gents, this was the sixties... and we are poking fun at Mom, Apple Pie, and the American Way of life... someone out there may be smarting about their Mom or Gran...
