A new bass was born today!
I built this one on assignment for a bass player in The Netherlands.
Body and neck are mahogany
Fretboard is rosewood
Transparent black finish with pearloid binding
Seymour Duncan SRB-1B (rickenbacker replacement humbucker)
MEC on-on-on toggle (series, single coil, parallel)
Volume pot CTS
Babicz bridge

This Non Reverse Thunderbird on Ebay has the original bridge relocated under an angle to get proper intonation.

Gibson Basses / Employee build Les Paul Bass on Ebay

I remember seeing this bass for the first time years ago. Can it be Dudepit days?
I'm pretty sure I've seen it before sometime.
Looks legit. All the characteristic construction features of a Les Paul Bass / Triumph are there. Bass is in very good shape.
Lots of good photographs.
I'm tempted...

Birth of a bass; The first Brooks EB-PL.
Long scale (34"). Mahogany body. Mahogany set neck. Bone nut. Single coil handwired pickup. Schaller lightweight tuners. CTS pots, Sprague capacitor.
Almost ready. Only a few details left to do.
