Found this nifty little Gibson Ripper promo on eBay. I hope the link works because I couldn't get the pics off eBay for some reason.

Someone gave me the Ripper one back in the day...I learned the "Chase" cut from it.

Fortunately Dartanyan Brown wasn't on the plane that crashed, killing Bill Chase and three other band members. That couldn't have been long after this track was recorded.

He still has the Ripper. (http://dartanyan.com/wordpress/?p=246) He taught music on the west coast for years and now teaches in his native Des Moines.
