Title: NR Forgery
Post by: dadagoboi on February 24, 2015, 01:19:33 PM: Guy contacted me through my website about an NR he bought at Sam Ash about this bass. It was sold to him as one of mine. Pretty sure I know who built it...wasn't me! ;)

Have to admire the creativity of the forger in the cavity cover.

I actually went to elementary school in Carle Place grades K-5 before we moved to Florida. Fun place to grow up.

Yep. I told the guy that Bill built it. He seems happy with the bass, Barts and all.

So... Bon Jovi's 2nd-cousin sold a bass to Mark Mendoza's nephew? Happens all the time on LawnGuyLand. ;D

It wasn't a forgery, it was a "tribute" to a bygone era and bass. If it were a forgery, I would have used mahogany! ;)
