Title: Modern T-bird trc, will they fit an NR?

I think I read on here somewhere that modern T-bird TRCs will fit an original NR. Did I misread or is that still correct?

Specifically, I think now that there are two versions, each with different center-to-center screw holes (the two by the nut).
