Title: 1968 Rick 366 Convertible
Post by: Dave W on June 09, 2014, 12:21:05 PM
A rare bird. (http://www.ebay.com/itm/1968-RICKENBACKER-366-12-STRING-CONVERTIBLE-VERY-RARE-1-13-MAPLEGLO-/221459579937?pt=Guitar&hash=item3390050421)

Converts from a 6 to a 12 with a mechanical "converter comb." Seems like a bargain at the asking price.

I remember those well from the 60's.
Tuning was a problem on most but a clever idea.

That headstock repair does not look so well done (pics can be deceiving).
