See if you can order an SG Bass case.

I've bought two SG bass cases on ebay for EB-0's & they work fine, keep your eyes open & they pop up from time to time..................

I note that the auction cheerfully quotes the manufacturer, and I can't help but quote it just to see the responses...

3-Way Adjustable Bridge
Gibson's innovative 3-way adjustable bridge is the standard for simplicity and functionality. It provides you with the ability to adjust and fine-tune the height of the SG Standard Bass' strings in all directions—front, back, and side-to-side. This gives the bridge a floating feature, thus allowing the bass to be equipped with a variety of string gauges and multiple set-up options.

The SG Reissue bass's legendary resonance, tone, and sustain is the result of anchoring the bridge directly into the body at its 3 adjustable points, providing a firm seating for the strings and yielding a strong union between the strings and the body. Readily accessible screws make setting the intonation simple. To this day, Gibson's 3-way adjustable bridge remains an industry standard. It is the epitome of form and function in bass guitar bridge design.

I'm proud to say that my Casady also benefits from this "epitome of form and function."

And true it is, burn the naysayers at the stake! We applaud and praise you Holy Immaculate Three Point!!! When it cometh to elevation, thou knoweth no favoritism, all strings are treateth equally or with a holy slant ...

Hiscox make a case that fits EB-0/1/3/4 shaped bodies.  I used one for my EB-4L.  I own several Hiscox basses for my herd - for the money, you won't get any other case that offers the same protection in such a light package.  They are every bit as tough as a full ATA-spec road case.

Nothing wrong with the Supertone at all and one thing it sure doesn't: Look like a Fender bridge! Added to the more modernly convenient adjustmen  possibilities, it gives you a touch more sustain too though that is nothing where Gibson basses have issues in the first place. Someone should stick it on a Fender and see how that sounds.

Would that be the same German engineering that brought us the Amphicar?

And I always thought I was low pc and would do anything for a pun ... :-X

No, I'm not really lusting. For a 50th Anniversary it's a bit lame.

Hey, we tried.  Thousands of guys sniff helium and do inane voices every day in an effort to deplete the world's helium supplies.

But they keep sending that dang hydrogen to Germany because it doesn't make their voices sound funny.

is it possible that the engineers that developed the “Land Wasser Schlepper, came to the USA via Operation Paperclip & built this?

I'm surprised nobody made a joke about a company called Hiscox. If they make instrument cases maybe they should be called Herbox instead. :rimshot:

But seriously, which Hiscox case fits the EB3? I saw models for Les Paul and SG guitars and others for Fender Basses but nothing about Gibson basses on their site.

The standard case they advertise as fitting Fender also fits the EB-3 (and EB-0, EB-1, EB-4L) - the same case also fits a Rick 4001/3 shape, Stingray, Bongo, Big Al, and lots of others.  The best thing about Hiscox cases, apart from the bullet proof exterior protection, is the fact that it supports the neck so that the headstock is not in contact with the bottom of the case - which is why they are great for Gibsons.  Pity they don't make a case big enough for Thunderbirds.

A friend of mine wanted to buy a T-bird once - but turned it down because the case did´t go into
the trunk of his car!
