John Cipollina is one of my favorite guitarists.  The thing that separates him from everyone else out of the California scene back then was the fact that he was only true electric guitarist.  Everyone else had converted from playing acoustic to electric guitar.  Cipollina had started on the electric.  I also think that one of his rigs is on display at The Smithsonian.

I'm probably one of the few people that bought the album from John's post-QMS band, Copperhead.  I still dig it out every once in a while.
